Avoid drafts. Keep candles away from vents, fans, or open windows to prevent uneven burning and flickering.

Don’t touch or move hot candles. Wait until the wax has cooled and solidified before handling.

Skip the water. Never use water to extinguish your candle. Use a snuffer or gently blow it out to prevent splattering.

Fully extinguish before leaving. Always make sure the flame is completely out before you leave the room.

Keep out of reach. Store candles away from children and pets to prevent accidents.

Stay clear of flammables. Never burn candles near curtains, fabric, or anything flammable.

Burning Your Candle Properly
To get the most out of your candle:

Trim your wick to 1/8"–1/4" before each burn to prevent soot and extend burn time.

For the first burn, let the candle create a full melt pool across the top — this usually takes about 3 hours and prevents tunneling.

Burn for 3–4 hours at a time. For longer burns, extinguish, trim the wick, and relight to maintain a clean burn and reduce carbon buildup.

If the wick flickers or smokes, extinguish the flame and trim the wick before relighting.

Keep the wax pool free of debris, like matches or wick trimmings, to maintain a smooth, even burn.
Extinguishing Tips
Use a quick puff of air or a snuffer. Avoid using a lid to extinguish the flame, as it may trap smoke. To minimize smoke after extinguishing, dip the wick in melted wax or drip a bit over the tip using a utensil.
Let candles cool completely before handling and discontinue use when only 1/4 inch of wax remains.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of wax do you use?
Our candles are made with a custom blend of soy wax that is sustainable, vegan, and non-toxic. It provides a clean, long-lasting burn and allows our signature fragrances to shine.
Do you use essential oils?
Not directly. We use high-quality, clean fragrance oils that contain essential oil components and are designed specifically for candle making. All fragrances are free from phthalates, parabens, and other harmful chemicals.
What size candle do I need for my space?
One candle is perfect for standard bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens. For larger, open spaces or high-ceiling rooms, we recommend using two or more candles — either of the same scent or layered for a custom aroma experience.
Can I reuse the candle container?
Absolutely! Once about 1/4" of wax remains:

Remove residual wax and wick stickers using a silicone spatula (avoid metal utensils).

Do not pour wax down the drain.

Soak the container in warm, soapy water to loosen labels and residue.

Wash, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Containers can go in the dishwasher afterward.

When will I receive my candle?
We ship orders Monday through Wednesday to reduce delays over the weekend. All packages are sent via USPS Priority, which typically arrives within 1–3 business days for U.S. orders, depending on your location.
For international orders (Canada, Australia, Belgium, France, and Italy), delivery may take 2 weeks or more, depending on your country's customs process and local carrier services.
