Candle Safety and FAQs
Candle Safety is of utmost importance when it comes to enjoying the warm glow and delightful fragrance they bring to our living and workspaces. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we have provided some guidelines that you should keep in mind:
1. Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room and on a heat-resistant surface. This will prevent any potential accidents and ensure that the candle burns evenly.
2. Never leave a burning candle unattended. It's important to always keep an eye on the candle to avoid any mishaps.
3. Avoid placing candles in areas with drafts, vents, ceiling fans, or any other moving air pathways. This will help in maintaining an even burn and minimize smoke or a flickering wick.
4. It is crucial to never touch a burning candle or attempt to move it when the wax is in a liquid state. This can lead to burns or spills, causing harm to yourself or your surroundings.
5. Remember to never extinguish candles with water. Instead, use a candle snuffer or carefully blow out the flame. This will prevent any splattering or potential accidents.
6. Always ensure that a candle is completely extinguished before leaving the room. This will eliminate any risk of fire hazards.
7. Keep candles out of the reach of small children and pets. It's important to place them in areas where they cannot be accidentally knocked over or accessed by curious hands or paws.
8. Lastly, never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. This includes curtains, fabrics, or any flammable materials. Always maintain a safe distance between the candle and any potential fire hazards.
By following these guidelines, you can enjoy the beauty and ambiance of candles while ensuring the safety of yourself and your surroundings.
Burning Your Candle
To achieve a longer, cleaner, and more even burn for your candle, it is important to trim the wick to a length of 1/8" - 1/4" before each lighting. Trimming the wick in this manner will help maximize the lifespan of your candle and ensure that you can fully enjoy its fragrance. When you first light the candle, it's crucial to allow it to create a complete melted wax pool across its surface. This initial burning process typically takes around 3 hours, but it is essential for ensuring even burning and optimal fragrance release throughout the entire lifespan of the candle.
When lighting the candle, it is recommended to burn it for three to four hours, ensuring that the wax melts completely to the top of the candle each time. If you prefer to leave the candle lit for a longer period, it is strongly advised to extinguish the flame, trim the wicks, and relight it every three to four hours. This practice not only extends the burn time but also reduces the risk of carbon buildup on the tip of the wick. In case the wick starts to smoke or flicker excessively, it is important to extinguish the flame and trim the wick before relighting the candle.
Always maintain a clear wax pool, free of wicks, matches, and debris to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the candle.
When extinguishing the candle, be cautious and use a quick jet of air directed at each wick or a candle snuffer. Avoid using a candle cover as it may trap smoke inside the container. To prevent smoke from escaping from an unlit wick, gently bend the wick until it touches the melted wax or use a toothpick or utensil to drip melted wax onto the end of the wick. Do not move the candles until the wax has cooled and set, as containers may be hot to touch. Lastly, discard candles when only a quarter inch of wax remains.

Enjoy your candles!

What size candle do I need for my space?
A single candle is suitable for use in bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and standard living or working areas. However, larger rooms or spaces with high ceilings or open floor plans may require multiple candles to effectively disperse the fragrance. You have the option to use multiple candles of the same scent or create a personalized aroma by combining different scents.
Can your containers be reused?
When the candle has about 1/4 inch of wax left, it's important to stop using it. When removing the remaining wax, wicks, and any labeling, it's crucial to exercise caution and care. A gentle way to remove the wax and wicks/wick stickers is by using a rigid silicone utensil; it's best to avoid using knives or other metal items. The removed wax should be discarded in the trash and never put down the drain or garbage disposal. After removing the wax and wicks, the container should be placed in hot soapy water to soften any residue and labels. Then it should be washed, rinsed, and dried. It's not recommended to scrape labels off as this might cause damage to the surface of the container. Once all wax and label residue is gone, the containers may be put in the dishwasher. It's important to note that the company assumes no liability for candle containers or any subsequent results of their reuse by the consumer once purchased.
